Tom Long is Associate Professor at the University of Warwick. His research examines the dynamics of international asymmetry and, broadly, the historical international relations of the Americas. His book Latin America Confronts the United States was published by Cambridge University Press, and his articles have appeared in journals including World Politics, International Security, and International Affairs. He has also held positions at American University, CIDE, and the University of Reading, and his research has been funded by institutions including Fulbright Commission, British Academy, and British Council.
